1. Why are there Holes in The Bread

The holes you see in the piece of bread are made by bubble of gas. The dough for making bread is prepared by mixing flour and water. Then a small amount of yeast is added to it. Yeast is a type of fungus that grows quickly when it is warm and damp. As it grows, a gas comes out of the yeast which bubbles up through the dough. It is yeast that gives bread its flavour and delicious smell.
